it’s finally over!

So obviously I haven’t had any time to post recently because we’ve been so busy with the move and all. We finally made it into Missouri early this morning (3:30 am) after a grueling day of panic and travel. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to sell everything we wanted to before the big move but that’s the beauty of Craigslist. Put an ad up, put your stuff out on the curb, and within an hour, it’s gone. Moving for lazy people at it’s finest!

We are definitely going to miss SF a lot but it was time for a drastic change of pace. Small-town Missouri is so quiet it almost feels wrong but then we woke up this morning to a massive hail storm that made it look as though 2 inches of snow had fallen in a matter of minutes. Wacky weather is going to be hard to get used to again. It’s also strange to see so much open, flat land.

Before we left this afternoon, we hit up Ocean Beach one last time. It made me sad to think I had to leave this beautiful stretch of ocean behind. I suppose it’s for the better, though. Hopefully we’ll be back for Tom Petty and Radiohead in Golden Gate Park this summer. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
