Coit Tower

Before we moved to San Francisco, my husband and I lived further south along the peninsula. Whenever we got the chance, we would make our way up to the city for the day just to do some exploring. Being from South Texas, we saw San Francisco as the coolest place on Earth. There are huge trees everywhere, steep hills with houses on their sides, and beautiful beaches.

I don’t know how many of you have been to South Texas but the trees are anything but huge (puny if you ask me), people don’t put their houses on the sides of cliffs because they value their lives, and the beaches in Texas are disgusting (you can see giant oil rigs from shore, for God’s sake).

That being said, I thought I’d share some old shots of the city that I took before we lived here. I had recently acquired my first digital 2 MP Canon point-and-shoot when I took these so they’re not the best quality but I think I managed to get a couple of good shots.
