sf review #1: noriega produce

Noriega Produce is a great little market on Noriega between 45th and 46th streets in the Outer Sunset district. We’ve had our fair share of visiting scary produce places in this city but Noriega Produce is awesome! The produce aisle always looks immaculate and the produce itself is always top-notch. They carry a wide variety of items, pretty much everything you’ll ever need.

They have a good wine and beer selection and their regular drink selection is so huge that I end up standing in front of the refrigerated section for several minutes before finally choosing. The staff is friendly and will go out of their way to help you find whatever you need. That’s not something you can say very often here in SF. Most stores here are staffed by whiney elitists who think they’re better than everyone else.

All in all, I highly recommend visiting Noriega Produce. It’s definitely a great place to stop on the way home from a day at Ocean Beach or after chilling at the great coffee shop, Sea Biscuit, next door. So overall, in my opinion, Noriega Produce gets two very enthusiastic thumbs up!
