So after renting a Sigma 15mm fisheye lens from BorrowLenses.com, we decided to give it a test run at the Conservatory of Flowers (my favorite photo spot, obviously) in Golden Gate Park. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to give it a proper test run because mother nature decided to intervene (buckets o’ rain). But not before we got a few shots in…
The Conservatory has a really great exhibit called Color: A Winter Carnivale going on until March 3rd. Beautiful carousel horses, tiny exotic flowers and plants, and colorful decor make for nice photo-ops.
I was really impressed with the Sigma fisheye lens. It has a great response time, takes fantastic shots, and was easy to use especially for someone who has no technical lens know-how whatsoever.
